Thomas and Alexis met over 20 years ago while working at a school in Arizona. One of the many things that drew them together was a love of traveling. Thomas prefers a city vacation with museums, historical and archeological sites, and hustle and bustle, a reflection of New York City and Phoenix, where he grew up. Alexis tends to enjoy landscapes, nature, food, and a more relaxed pace, echoing her first two decades in small town Southwestern Pennsylvania. A universal calling to explore combined with their individual preferences gives them the best of both worlds when they travel. Both love reading and learning about the places they visit. Both could sit for hours hand in hand at a street-side café watching people pass by. Both feel art, music, and literature. Both appreciate the sound of the waves or wind in the trees as they relax after a day of adventure. They have worked to have the opportunity to share this love of travel, history, people, and cultures with their two children.

Thomas teaches high school theatre, serves as college adjunct, and writes books and short stories when he isn’t traveling. Alexis worked in human resources before becoming a stay-at-home mom after her children were born, taking a few years to learn the travel trade. She now assists with theatre productions, manages the household, bakes, and crafts when she isn’t traveling. Both are supporters of Make-A-Wish and The Lupus Foundation of America. Their talents and skills as production managers, love of travel and geography, and desire to share these gifts with others led them to start their own travel business.
